What I’ve been up to…

Filming in Almería, Spain - 2021
The Man Who Fell To Earth, 2021
Cooking for the director on set and at home for 8 months around London, and out in Spain for a stint too. Having a very limited grasp of Spanish, I spent a lot of time using some expert gesturing in the local Spanish markets. Always a pleasure being immersed into new food culture with local producers. But most of all, the seafood there was absolutely sensational!

Wild Garlic, April 2020
To those who find joy in trudging through some beautiful woods searching for a garlicky aroma, here is what I did with my foraged garlic this year!
Wild Garlic Hummus
Vibrant wild garlic makes an excellent chickpea hummus
Wild Garlic Pesto
This classic pesto with plenty of wild garlic is fab with a roasted vegetable salad or a light pasta dish
Garlic Capers
Once flowered, these lovely little capers form. You can do loads of things with these; my favourite is to pickle them and then add to salads or serve with terrines or cheese
Wild Garlic Butter
Makes a lovely addition to potatoes, meats and fish. A great way to extend a wonderful but short wild garlic season

Shrewsbury Market,
March 2020
A great partnership with Maddocks Farm back in my hometown in Shropshire to do a vegetarian feast at one of Shrewbury Market’s Late Night events. It’s always a pleasure to be in a field picking and choosing your own fresh, amazing quality ingredients, and cooking them later that day

Pimhill Farm, April 2020
Commissioned to do some recipes for Pimhill Farm, they are fab and one of the first farms to go organic - in 1949 so check them out!
Here is a taster of some of the dishes below

Short Film, December 2019
My girlfriend was making a film in Mallorca and naturally I offered to cater! Such a lovely crew that put everything into this 100% passion project, shooting in gorgeous locations around Palma, Mallorca
